After School & Bus Plans Each Day

Parents, Please make sure your child knows where he/she is going each day after school BEFORE they come to school. We understand, however, that occasionally things will come up. If there is a change in schedules, please call the office by 1:30 p.m. each day.

Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.

Parent/Teacher Conferences are on Thursday, February 27th. For students in PreK-5, please sign up at the link below. Middle School Conferences will be held at the same time, but are not scheduled ~ feel free to pop into the gym to talk to any or all teachers! We look forward to partnering with you about your child's progress this year!

Send Your Child or Teacher a Candy Gram for Valentine's Day

Student Council will again be selling Candy Grams that can be purchased online and sent to your child (or teacher) on Valentine's Day. The link and more information will be coming soon ~ stay tuned!

Manvel School Student Council to host Pizza Ranch Fundraiser

On Thursday, February 20th, the MPS student council will be holding a fundraiser at Pizza Ranch (3750 32nd Ave North) in Grand Forks between 5-9 p.m. Please plan a night out to come and eat supper, and be waited on by our MPS Student Council. This fundraiser will help cover the costs for our group to attend the ND Leadership Conference in Bismarck this spring. Thanks for your support!

Valentine's Day Visit to Cancer Centers in Grand Forks

The 6th, 7th and 8th-grade classes are collecting individually wrapped candy. They will be filling treat bags for patients at both Cancer Centers in Grand Forks on Valentine’s Day. If you are interested in helping out, please send any candy or cash donations to MPS by Monday, February 11th.

Sensory Room Open House on February 4th

Do you think your child may have Sensory Processing Disorder? If you would like more information, Manvel School will be hosting an Open House in our School's sensory room on February 4th, from 7:30 - 9:00 a.m.

All Parents and Community are invited to attend!

Reading Month: Reading Takes You Anywhere You Want To Go!

We will kick-off Reading Month in February with some fun activities and a traveling theme to get our students excited about the importance of reading in their lives. Middle School students will be decorating their lockers like the spine of their favorite book. Students will be tracking their reading progress on a passport by reading for 20 minutes nightly at home. Please help your child meet his/her goal by setting a nightly reading routine. We will also have a Vocabulary Parade with our Elementary students on February 26th at 1:30 p.m. Parents and community are invited to attend!

Mustang Mondays!

Every Monday at MPS is now designated as "Mustang Mondays" in order for our students and staff to show their Mustang PRIDE (see photo below)! Your child may wear black and orange, or Mustang gear on Mondays throughout the year. If you are interested in purchasing Mustang clothing, please contact Mrs. Wohlgamuth at the email below, or call the school at 696-2212
