Congratulations RMS students for collecting over 350 toys for the Friends of Foster Children. The advisory classes of Mrs. Heikkila, Mrs. McIlhargey, and Mrs. Sloane won a pizza party provided by the Romeo Masonic Lodge #41 for their amazing participation in the toy drive. Thank you to everyone who donated a toy and to our Leadership Class for organizing this event.

Romeo High School Trap League is a great opportunity to learn a cool outdoor spring sport and is offered to all middle school students. Safety is top priority and preparation for this league is essential. A google form to gather “interest” was shared with all the RMS students today. If your son or daughter is interested in learning more about this program - please have them fill out the form so we can invite them to an informational meeting and walk them through the necessary steps to join the league. Greetings from the RMS Counseling office!

As we head into the holiday season it is important to be mindful about our children’s mental health. This is a joyful season, but for some it is also a time of sadness, confusion, and even worry. Our children want to experience the joy of the holidays, but may be worried about so many things that those feelings of concern override everything else. As parents and the adults in their lives it is important to be even more diligent in making sure that their mental health, as well as yours, is taken care of. Please reach out to us if you are concerned about your child or need extra support.
