A Wrangler Gazette Special Column

Busy Little Bodies & Minds

It's been a busy first two months of school in pre-k. Boys and girls have been busy learning routines and rules. They are getting the hang of the routines and are doing well now. Our first few weeks have included themes on school, apples, community helpers and five senses.

Our favorite has been our apple unit because we all got to taste and eat yummy apples. We also graphed everyone's favorite apple (red, yellow, or green) and discussed the results of our class graph.

In the coming weeks, our units will include: pumpkins, fall, and pets.

Parents will be receiving their child's first pre-k report card in mid-November. Also, we will conduct parent conferences in November or early December.
