PINE HOLLOW MIDDLE SCHOOL

Wednesday, December 19, 2018

Dear Parents,

As the 1st Semester comes to a close, I want to wish you all a wonderful Winter Break, a relaxing holiday season, and a happy New Year! We've had a great first semester, and our staff has been very impressed by the hard work and progress of our students this year.

For those of you who have children who struggled, please remind your child to use the 2nd Semester as a fresh start and chance to improve. I encourage you to email their teachers to set up a parent/teacher conference, or have a phone call or two with them so that a new plan of action can be implemented. And please share with your child that the progress they've made is meaningful, and more success is coming if they keep putting in the effort.

Thank you, and wishing you and your family all the best in 2019! Sincerely,

Ben Campopiano

Principal, Pine Hollow Middle School

Holiday Tech Drive

Our Pine Hollow Parent Teacher Student Association (PTSA) is still accepting donations for their Holiday Tech Drive! Please consider making a tax-deductible donation of any amount to help us upgrade and modernize our technology on campus. Whatever amount you donate to this drive will go directly back to the classroom for Chromebooks and technology. Thank you!

Zero Period PE Starting 2nd Semester

Zero Period PE for 7th and 8th graders is a go starting 2nd Semester! If your child is interested in taking Zero Period PE and adding an additional elective their schedule, please email Ben Campopiano as soon as possible.

Basketballs and Sports Equipment Needed

Every day at lunch, we have hundreds of kids playing basketball, four square, hoola hoops, and jump rope. Our equipment has waned and we are now limited in what we can offer the kids. Please consider making a donation of a new or gently used basketball, four square ball, hoola hoop, or jump rope. Donations can be dropped off at the main office and will go directly to use for our lunchtime activities. Thank you for your consideration!

Update Your HomeLink Account

Please take a moment over the break to double check your family's information listed in your HomeLink account. Some info can be changed quickly online, and other things will need to be changed by our office staff. This is critically important so that we can properly stay in touch throughout the year with you and your emergency contacts if necessary.
