Weekly Update- June 3rd, 2022
Household Income Survey--VERY IMPORTANT!
Household Income Survey for School Funding Please take a few minutes to ensure that maximum school funding is obtained for your schools.
Every family that fills out this form before the last day of school will receive free Chromebook Insurance for each child ($35 per student) in the 2022/23 school year! Additionally, families who qualify as “low income” will receive free or reduced bus transportation and a discount on the Driver’s Education Program. In the past, schools collected income data through the School Lunch Program but now that meals are free for all students, districts are required to collect the data by alternative means. Without this data, the district will lose significant funding (Covid waivers for funding are going away this year) but by taking this survey, you will allow the district to qualify for its regular level of funding. It only takes a few minutes to complete and the information you provide is considered a confidential educational record under the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA).
Here is a link to the survey. Thank you for your time!
