EWSD Summer Chromebook Update
Please read the latest updates around student Chromebooks as we approach the end of the school year, broken down by grade level!
High School/CTE: Seniors are being 'gifted' their Chromebooks at graduation. They do not need to be turned in. If students do not want the Chromebook, they can return it to the Helpdesk. Students currently in grades 9-11 may keep their Chromebook over the summer, understanding they will need to bring them back into the next school year.
CTE: Students in grades 9-12 from outside of our district should leave their Chromebooks at EHS/CTE unless other arrangements have been communicated.
Grades K-8: K-8 students will be leaving their Chromebooks at school, and each of the schools will coordinate a process with teachers for that collection.
Chromebook loaners: There was a loaner program at the high school when students did not have their own devices. We are missing a number of these and would appreciate parents looking at home for these.
Further details are available here. If you have any questions, please reach out to the EWSD Helpdesk (802-857-7777 or helpdesk@ewsd.org).

June Awareness Month Celebrations on the EWSD Calendar
As we look to June, there are a plethora of inclusive holidays to recognize, including:
Also in June, the Black Lives Matter movement that began as a social media response to an acquittal in the 2013 shooting death of African-American teen, Trayvon Martin, is highlighted. The movement now includes thousands of decentralized chapters that advocate for equality and justice for the Black community. The cause also focuses on protesting violence committed against black people at the hands of law enforcement. PBS.org has an excellent resource for teachers and families to utilize in talking with young children about race and racism.
