Best Google Easter Eggs - The Easter Egg Hunter
Tool of the Week- Chwazi Finger Chooser
Simple. Useful. Open the app. All the kids in a group put their finger on the screen. The app chooses a finger. Maximum users supported by the app is 32, but actually depends on the device being used, usually 5-10 people.
Tip of the Week
A couple useful YouTube tips as we continue to adjust to the new restrictions.
- If students appear to be logged in to their account but still show an approved video as restricted, have them visit youtube.com/channel_switcher. They may have more than one account with their FISD email address and that is okay! They must be on the channel that has their email address as their username to see authorized videos.
- Substitutes cannot approve videos, but they can watch videos that are already approved.
- Sometimes, we have trouble with videos that are embedded somewhere, even if they are approved. If kids run into this, try having them open the video in YouTube.
- If you are really struggling with a particular video, try putting it in EdPuzzle. This changes the URL of the video and gets around the restrictions.
Just for fun
Check out Autodraw.com. You start to draw something on the screen, and it guesses what you are making and gives you pretty versions. It is pretty fun!
