Adaptations
Prairie: some of them have flat top teeth and digestive systems so that they can feed on grasses. Some other animals have legs that let them burrow into the ground to help them hide from predators. Most of these animals are nocturnal which also helps hide them from predators, some of these animals blend in with their surroundings too.
lake: algae and mosses have the ability to cling to rocks and other surfaces so they can survive. Some other plants to float and they have strong roots to help them survive. Birds that live near the water usually have webbed feet or sharp talons for catching fish. Some can waterproof their feathers to keep themselves dry. The animals that live underwater have gills so they can breathe underwater and others can hold their breath long. Some even blend in to their surroundings. Predators have sharp teeth to tear through flesh of other fish.
