2014-15 1st Semester Exam Schedule
1st Semester Exam Make-up Procedure
Mr. Griffith will distribute via email the list of students who have been approved to take a make-up 1st semester exam. This list will go out each afternoon until the time for submitting medical excuses has lapsed. Teachers must not allow a student to take a make-up exam until his/her name appears on the list. Once a student has been approved, the teacher and student are to make arrangements for the administration of the make-up exam. If a mutually convenient time cannot be scheduled, then the teacher must report this situation to Mr. Griffith.
See below for a few additional details related to make-up exams and please contact Mr. Griffith if you have any questions.
· Monday, 02/05/14, is the drop dead deadline for the grades of students who are missing work because class ranking reports have to be run shortly thereafter.
· Teachers must enter a “0” for each student who misses an exam. Once the make-up exam has been taken, the teacher must go through the grade change process so that the “0” is revised to the earned academic grade.
· Teachers are encouraged to be creative. Please consider dividing the exam into parts, using a “buddy” teacher, giving the exam before or after school, etc.
· If all else fails and the make-up exam has not been administered by Friday 01/23/15 at 1:00 p.m., send the exam with the student’s name to Mr. Griffith. I will organize these into groups so the exam can be administered in the media center on Tuesday 01/27/15.

Also, please list the current clubs, committees or varsity/junior varsity teams you sponsor.
