Ninth and Second Amendments
How these two amendments help and protect our everyday lives
Ninth Amendment
This amendment protects us by telling the people what they need to know. By this I mean that they need to know that there is other laws besides the ones on the constitution they are just not as important as the ones that are stated on the constitution.
How the Ninth amendment helps us in our lives
There are many different laws that are trying to be passed every day. Some of them are major and some are more minor. The people need to know what they can and cannot do. For example there was recently a law passed that you cannot smoke in the car. Especially with kids in the car. If you do you will be fined. If somebody does not have a television, or their television is not working then they may not be able to get notified about it. So there needs to be another way to let people know that you cannot smoke in the car anymore.

Second Amendment
Explains that each state has a militia that is protecting the state and that the people are allowed to own guns. This protects us because if there ever was an attack on a specific state then those people can protect themselves against the attackers.
How the second amendment helps us in our lives
There are approximately five thousand robberies a year and one hundred people killed or injured during the process. These injuries may not have happened if more people were allowed to own gun. This is included in the second amendment of the Bill of Rights. Now people can carry guns and protect themselves against attackers and other intruders in their own personal space.
