Roselawn Round Up
Weekly Newsletter for Roselawn Families November 16th, 2020
We enter the final week of the first trimester. I do want to thank all of the families, students, and staff for helping us get to this point. We have had a lot of changes this school year and our students and staff have rolled with them.
Remember we don't have school for students next week, and students will return to class on November 30th.
Enjoy the week ahead!

1st Trimester Celebration
This upcoming Friday marks the end of our 1st trimester. We want to recognize our students' efforts both academically and behaviorally with a school-wide celebration. On Friday, November 20, we are going to play school-wide bingo from 8:05-8:35. Mr. Kowalksi and Mr. Nelson will be the bingo callers. We will be connecting virtually with our classrooms through the use of a Google Meet. We will print off traditional bingo cards for our students.
If you have a son or daughter who is joining their class studies virtually, he/she can also join our school-wide bingo. You can print off a traditional card from home or if you are picking up other materials from school this week, you can get a bingo card from the front office. If you are interested, please let your child's teacher know. Our teachers will share the Google Meet link so that you can join us starting at 8:05 on Friday.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Mr. Nelson at tnelson@cwasd.k12.wi.us or by phone at 715-924-2244 ext. 2703.
What to do if your child is in quarantine?
In the last couple of weeks, we have had many students put into a quarantine situation because they have been in contact with close positive contact. We appreciate all the parents who have contacted the school and our health department, letting us know that their child was in touch with a close positive case.
If your student is in quarantine, Roselawn Elementary will continue to provide a continuous learning experience. Parents may pick up their student's school laptop and connect with their classroom teacher virtually. Students can access music, art, and phy ed virtual classrooms as well. Music classes for virtual students will look a little different from the virtual classrooms for students in person, but the content will be similar.
If parents have any questions about their child attending school virtually while on quarantine, please contact your child's teacher.
