Pennies for Patients

Rolling Hills Elementary will begin a fundraiser for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society called, “Pennies for Patients,” beginning on Monday, February 4th and running through Friday, February 22nd. All funds raised will be donated to the society to help with their groundbreaking research to find better treatments and cures for blood cancers, while improving the lives of the patients and their families. Students are welcome to bring in donations in any form (coins, bills, checks made payable to “The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society”) which will be collected in classrooms throughout the school. The homeroom class which collects the most in donations during the contest time period will be eligible for an Olive Garden Pasta Party to reward their hard work.

Report Cards

Tuesday, February 12th, after 4:00 pm, parents will be able to log onto their account on the Home Access Center (HAC) and view their child’s report card. Report Cards will not be sent home. This is a new process for parents with students in kindergarten through second grade. For information about the report cards and logging into HAC please visit the District webpage HERE.

Valentine's Day Parties

You will receive communication directly from homeroom liaisons about Valentine’s Day activities for each classroom. Like past years, if students bring in cards, we ask that candy or food treats NOT be attached to the cards. Plain cards are fine. If you wish, you can attach a small non-edible treat like an eraser, a pencil, a sticker, etc. Thanks for understanding and following this protocol.

Rolling Hills Elementary Community Forum regarding upcoming Renovations and Move – 2019-2020 School Year

As you know, Rolling Hills Elementary will be undergoing a complete renovation during next school year (the 2019-2020 school year). We are excited about the transformation that will be happening at our school. During the renovation, Rolling Hills Elementary will be housed at the former Richboro Middle School (98 Upper Holland Road, Richboro, Pa 18954) for the 2019-2020 school year. Currently, Wrightstown Elementary is housed at this location during their current renovation. There has been a lot of planning to help us prepare for next school year and for the renovations.

During the evening of Tuesday, February 12th, parents are invited to a Community Forum at RHE. Specific information including the location and time are located below. Parents will have the opportunity to learn more about the upcoming renovation and move to the former Richboro Middle School. A presentation will be given by Doug Taylor, Director of Operational Services. Andy Ro, Director of Transportation, will also be in attendance. Besides being a change for all of us, all of our students who currently walk to school, will be assigned bus transportation for next school year.

The evening’s presentation is designed for parents and guardians. We will be conducting transition activities for our students later this school year.
