Stock Market Simulation 7th Grade
Students are trading stocks. They are investing money over a 10 year period. Everyone also gets the chance to experience the role as stock broker

8th Grade Interactive Notebooks
Students are given many options to demonstrate what they understand for many of our history topics! Many creative projects are being completed!
What's New 6th Grade
Students are working on projects for the civilization of Ancient Egypt. After these are complete we will begin an independent project on astronomy. Students will get to choose their topic and teach it to the class. I am looking forward to the creativity and knowledge the students will share with the class!
What's New 7th Grade
Students are currently exploring the geography of North America. Next we will examine Canada and the U.S. to determine factors that make a country successful to explore and measure success around the world.
Extempore' plans are well under way. Thank you for returning the permission forms. We will begin to put together teams soon and explore our theme of "Can't See the Forest for the Trees".
What's New 8th Grade
Students are exploring how America became a nation. Current topics include the Revolutionary War, The Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution. Their interactive notebooks contain many processing assignments where students have the option to choose how they would like to demonstrate what they have learned.
Odyssey of the Mind plans are beginning to take form! Teams will be receiving their problems in the next week or so. It is important they read and understand the limitations to be able to solve the problem in a creative and unique way.
