Checklist of Things to DO!

Senior Finals
These will be the last days of high school for most. You will be required to complete a check out sheet!
Last Day to Course Work
All course work and online classes must be completed by 4:00 pm in order to attend the graduation ceremony
Graduation!
2:00 pm
Graduates are required to be there at 1:00 p.m.
May 17th. A BIG Day!
Graduation Reheasal
Students must attend rehearsal in order to participate in the graduation ceremony.
Senior Memory Walk
Graduates can go to their elementary school a participate in a memory walk (See Sr. Newsletter #17). Please sign up if your plan to attend.

Norfolk Senior High Staff Scholarship
Norfolk Student Council Scholarship
Senior students who have been in student council can apply for one of 3 - $300 scholarships. Due on April 27th at 4:00 in the counseling center
Lueshen's Birders Scholarship
Lueshen's Birders is a Northeast Nebraska Birdwatchers organization that was formed to promote bird watching, wildlife conservation, and enjoyment of nature.
With this in mind, the Club is offering two scholarships in the amount of $500 each to students planning to enter a biological field of study with special emphasis on wildlife and environmental conservation, or who may be currently enrolled in such a program. Applications are due to the address listed on April 28th.
Feidler Eye Clinic Scholarship
A $250 scholarship will be awarded to an outstanding Norfolk Senior High senior planning to continue his/her education after graduation at a college or vocational-technical school. Preference will be given to a student planning to major in biological science or a health care related field. Applications are due in the counseling center on April 30th at 4:00 pm.
Jim Hanna Memorial Scholarship
The Jim Hanna Memorial Scholarship is a $500 award given by the Independent Cattleman of Nebraska to the child of any ICON member with a paid membership who plans to attend college in the fall of 2018. The student must maintain a 2.5 GPA and be involved in extracurricular activities. An essay on their goals must accompany the Scholarship application by Monday, April 30th. Norfolk High School Red Cross Scholarship
Any Norfolk Senior High senior can apply for 2 - $250 scholarships. Preference will be given to students who worked or donated during a Blood Drive held at Norfolk Senior high. Due in the Counseling Center on Wednesday, May 2nd at 2:00 pm.
Norfolk Lions Club
Any senior student with a "B" average (86%) or above can apply for 1 of 4 $300 scholarships from the Norfolk Lions Club. Financial need will be considered but is not a requirement. Application is due in the counseling center by May 3rd at 4:00 p.m.
Norfolk Panther Booster Scholarship
Senior Students who have a parent who is a member of the Norfolk Panther Booster Club can apply for a $750 scholarship. Two boys and two girls will receive a scholarship. Applications are due in the counseling center by 4:00 pm on May 4th.
Local 1005 Norfolk Fire Division Scholarship
Students planning to attend Northeast Community College can apply for this $500 scholarship due on May 4th at fire station (address listed on the application). See the application below for more details.
