The Weekly Buzz π
From Palmer River Elementary School
December 15, 2023
Dear Families,
Week 14 brought much excitement as students browsed through books at the Scholastic Book Fair. Students were able to buy books and other special items while there. A special thank you to our PTSA and parent volunteers who helped to run the Scholastic Book Fair. We appreciate all of your help and support. We hope you all have a wonderful and safe weekend.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Kristine Kefor, Principal & Dr. Cheryl Leandro, Assistant Principal

Nurse Bellora
Dear Palmer River Friends and Families:
Here at Palmer River Elementary we are committed to the wellness of the βwhole childβ. The Health Office sees all students with a variety of challenges. There are moments when a learner needs to express how they are feeling. Holidays can evoke positive and negative emotions. Here is a link designed for parents that I found informative. Dr. Radcliffe, the author, describes different types of childhood stress and suggests specific strategies that are concomitant with each challenge/classification.
