Mental Health Minute: Anxiety
We are entering the 'academic burnout' phase of the year. Students and educators may be feeling mentally, physically and emotionally exhausted. Spring break can provide a needed respite, but it may be important to recognize increasing signs of stress in your student. According to the 2022 MN Student Data Survey, 50% of 8th graders and 59% of 11th graders reported feeling bothered by not being able to stop or control worrying over the previous 2 weeks. We will focus on anxiety in this month's Mental Health Minute. You will learn to recognize anxiety, understand the contributing factors, and provide some guidance on how to help.
