OLOF Testing

Dear Parents,

It’s TESTING TIME! Our teachers and scholars have been working hard to get ready for the IOWA and COGAT exams. Tomorrow, Wednesday, April 3, starts our official testing time! We have done our part here on campus, but we need a few things from ALL our parents, even if your child’s grade isn’t testing.

1. We NEED all scholars here by 8am! Testing starts at 8:15am daily. In an effort to keep NOISE to an absolute minimum, it is IMPERATIVE that ALL GRADES (PreK-8th) be here by 8am so that we can get them to class and ready before our testing time officially starts.

2. From 8am-11am, the campus will be CLOSED. This means that unless it is an emergency, please wait until after 11am to come up to campus. The office staff, the teachers, EVERYONE is all hands-on deck during our testing time, so we again want to limit the amount of noise and traffic flow that occurs during our testing time from 8am-11am.

A few other reminders/need-to-knows:

Grades 1st-8th will be testing the rest of this week, Wednesday through Friday, and next Tuesday (4/9) and Thursday (4/11). Scholars need to bring their own snacks. Please make sure to send healthy, clean snacks (clean as in nothing that will smear on tests, such as hot chips, sticky fruit rollups, etc.)

PreK -Kinder WILL have their field trip on Thursday. We would like to load and leave by 8:20am! Please be here by 7:45am for assembly so we can start loading as soon as assembly is over. Scholars MUST be in their regular school uniform: Fatima polo, navy pants, etc.

We WILL have hamburgers on Thursday for both lunches. Friends of Fatima WILL prepare burgers for Prek-Kinder at 12:30 if they still want one when they return from the trip.

There is NO MASS this week due to testing, but we WILL have MASS next week on Wednesday like normal.

If you have any more questions, please do not hesitate to call the front office. Have a blessed day, and please say a special prayer and blessing for all our scholars testing tomorrow.
