Chorus - upcoming events & fundraising

Fall Gala: A Hawaiian Luau: Veteran's Day, Friday, November 11th from 6p-8p (Pawleys Island Community Church)

Ticket sales opened this past Friday night and we invite you to join us for a night of dinner, silent auction, and entertainment by our Concert Choir members and local artists.

Help support the chorus' trip to Hawaii - consider donating via Venmo to @WHSChoralBoosters OR keep an eye out for future fundraisers!!!

WAVE PTSA is the only Waccamaw High School fundraising organization whole sole purpose is the enhancement of the academic environment. That is why your help and support of the WHS students and teachers is crucial!

Thanks to the generous support of past WAVE Family Members, many key improvements were made during the 2021-2022 school year, including:

  • Landscape and maintenance of the Memorial Garden and potted plants
  • Sent Student Council to their annual conference
  • Sent Speech and Debate Team to Nationals
  • Luncheons and birthday cookies for the teachers
  • Upgraded the teacher’s lounge
  • Adobe Creative Cloud for yearbook
  • Provided food for numerous school events

Please consider joining the WHS WAVE PTSA with a Family Membership for the upcoming school year. We are so very grateful for your support of our students and teachers!

Suicide Prevention Lifeline #

The number for the suicide prevention lifeline has changed from an 11-digit number to a 3-digit number. The number is also posted on our mental health page, linked above.
