Elementary Dress Code
With the weather getting warmer, below is a reminder of our dress code:
April - Problem Solving
Defining problem solving:
What do you do when you do not know what to do? What strategies do you use to figure things out when you have to?
If you have thought about these questions, and have a plan for finding answers or figuring out how to solve a problem – you are being a problem solver!
We see problem solving in all of our classrooms including specials…during your time at school, you can be a problem solver in Math, in PE, in Art, Music and Science.
Can you also think of ways you are a problem solving during Reading and Writing too? I bet you can. I have even watched students be good problem solvers while playing at recess!
Being a problem solver is also an example of being determined! Our principal’s book of the month for problem solving and being determined is “Stuck”. – I hope you enjoy the book as much as I doJ
