A Message from Mr Netzer

Hello Skyview Families,

Thank you all for your continued support and partnership. I am continually grateful for our Skyview community and the way we are able to work together to create excellent learning environments for our children.

Conferences are taking place this week and next. If you have not yet signed up for a conference time with your child’s teacher, please do so. Our teachers are eager to share with you about the amazing things that are happening in their rooms and the way your children are growing. This is a great opportunity to connect and further partner with our team here at school.

Our Believe Kids fundraiser is wrapped up for the year and we have amazing news to share. With your support, we were able to raise nearly $40,000! This is double our goal and will allow us to provide access to supplies, technology supports, and experiences for our classes. Thank you for your support. We truly couldn’t do this without you.

We open our doors to the school at 7:45 each morning. In order to create safety through adult supervision, we ask that families or adults remain with their children until that time. We understand that some students walk to school or may be dropped off before you go to work, but in order to effectively supervise our students and make sure our staff are prepared, we need that consistent time to begin at 7:45. AlphaBest is our contracted partner for families who may need before or after school care.

Please remember that next Friday, October 28 is a day off for students. There are no more days off until Thanksgiving break ( November 21-25).

Thank you all for supporting Skyiew through this great program! It's simple and brings in so much for all our kids!

King Soopers Rewards Program

The Kroger Family of Companies is committed to community engagement, positive social impact and charitable giving at the national and local levels. Every community is unique, but our common goal is to partner with the neighborhoods we serve and help the people there live healthier lives.

One of the ways in which we do this is through our King Soopers Community Rewards program. This program makes fundraising easy by donating to local organizations based on the shopping you do every day. Once you link your Card to an organization, all you have to do is shop at King Soopers and swipe your Shopper’s Card. Here’s how it works:

1. Create a digital account.

A digital account is needed to participate in King Soopers Community Rewards. If you already have a digital account, simply link your Shopper’s Card to your account so that all transactions apply toward the organization you choose.

2. Link your Card to an organization.

Selecting the organization that you wish to support is as simple as updating the King Soopers Community Rewards selection on your digital account.

1. Sign in to your digital account.

2. Search for your organization here.

3. Enter the name or NPO number of the organization you wish to support.

4. Select the appropriate organization from the list and click “Save”.

Your selected organization will also display in the King Soopers Community Rewards section of your account. If you need to review or revisit your organization, you can always do so under your Account details.

3. Your organization earns.

Any transactions moving forward using the Shopper’s Card number associated with your digital account will be applied to the program, at no added cost to you. King Soopers donates annually to participating organizations based on your percentage of spending as it relates to the total spending associated with all participating King Soopers Community Rewards organizations.

If you have any questions, please contact our Customer Service Center.

Whether you’re a customer or an organization, get started today!

Note: If you are a customer, make sure you have a preferred store selected to view participating organizations. If you are applying on behalf of an organization, please select a store in the same area as your organization.

Lost and Found

Our lost & found is overflowing! Please have your child check for any missing coats, hats, and gloves. You are also welcome to stop by to look before, during or after school. We will also have these racks out during our night conferences on the 25th & 26th of October. All items left will be donated to a local charity at our Winter Break.
