Math Update

Week of January 25th

This Week in Math...

The Math Benchmark, a county-wide assessment, will go on as planned this week. Before our "mini-break" due to the snow, students completed a benchmark review. We'll go over it when we return, then get right to work on the benchmark test. Testing will take place both Thursday and Friday.

It's always difficult to rearrange plans after so many unexpected days off. We often have to be creative in finding ways to regain instructional time. Since 5.6 Fraction Computation will be assessed on the benchmark, a student scoring 80% or higher will be exempted from the 5.6 test. Students scoring below an 80% will receive remediation and will take their test on Friday, February 5th.
