Wishing You a Safe and Restful Summer Break
Wow! This has indeed been an "interesting" school year. It has been three months since we were forced to accept Distance Learning and virtual classes. I know that the change was tough and required all of you to rise to a new expectation and find added strength an perseverance to stay ahead. I am very proud of all of you! I now want to wish you a joyful and safe summer break. You have indeed earned it!
We are still in the process of defining what school will look like come August, but rest assured that we will be back. Our students will once again have the opportunity to work towards high school graduation and their goals via our independent study program and our partnership with Ventura College. Our students will have the opportunity to take multiple courses using our already adopted curriculum and some new programs. There will be continued opportunities to connect with teachers and students to build relationships that foster growth and opportunity. More details regarding our school, programs and the district will come later this summer. I am thankful for your continued confidence and patience.
Please do not hesitate to contact me at hector.guerrero@venturausd.org should you have any questions or concerns.
Hector Guerrero
Principal
