Crimson Point Elementary School
January Update 1-4-22
Thank you for all of your support over the past two months with Turkeys for Teachers and our annual Canned Food Drive. I am extremely grateful to be a part of this community. I love how you always come together to support each other and that you take the time to teach your children about the importance of community and giving.
December was so much fun at Crimson Point! Make sure you check out all of the pictures at the bottom for all the fun things that happened last month!
January is all about winter benchmarking. Your students will take a new assessment on Isation (reading) and Iready (math). Your classroom teachers will use the data from these assessments to ensure that your student is growing academically. As a building, we will meet as grade-level teams to put new intervention groups together to support all of our students.
One of my biggest goals this year is to get parents back into the building and to continue to grow our partnership. This month Mr. Jensen has a few challenges for you, the parents:
Volunteer in your students' classroom - This can be anything from making copies or working with a small group! Whatever you are comfortable with, we would love to have you around!
Support PTA - Maybe you can’t attend next Tuesday's meeting and maybe you aren’t interested in jumping in and joining right now; however, there might be something you can do to help out! I challenge you to reach out to Courtney Emry and see if there is anything between now and the end of the year that PTA could use some help with. PTA Email - firstname.lastname@example.org
As always, I am here to support you! Please feel free to reach out to chat about any questions or concerns that you may have.
