Recap of Last Issue:
Be sure and look back if needed for any information on:
- Holidy Respite was a success. We had over 20 students and many staff members! Parents expressed great gratitude for the time to run errands and have the time! Thank you to all that helped out for this great service for our families! I heard so many times that "Tomball ISD is the only district that does this and we are so thankful!"
- Technology training... more on that below.
- Dyslexia Handbook Update... also discussed at Cross Talk.

GameChanger Challenges for the Week
I really enjoyed getting together with everyone last Friday! Thank you for all the team spirit, fun and the work you did to make sure all of next years campus, program and Intructional Setting are completed so we are able to start projections and planning for next year.
Christmas Break will be here in 5 short days. Among all the hustle and bustle, please take some time to embrace the great things that are happening all around us! Take some time with your teams to enjoy this holiday season!
We will not be doing points this next week, but I do want to give a huge shout out to those who participated Friday. The following points were awarded:
Bingo - 2 points for each team who had a winner
Skit - 10 points for 1st place and 7 points for 2nd
Skit - 4 pts each for most creative, most spirited and most inclusive
Gingerbread houses - 10 points for 1st place, 7 points for 2nd and 5 points for "the tornado"
Bonus 2 points for Ubuntu Tshirt!!!! Way to show team spirit and capture our motto Matt!
I LOVED the Christmas Sweaters/outfits worn too!
Don't forget, we will start back up on Monday, January 2nd at our Cross Talk. Please feel free to wear jeans and a school or student support tshirt.
We are #TISDGameChangers ....
Boardmaker Resources - Holiday Activities Too!
Great Resources from Boardmaker Session. One file has some really neat language activities that can be printed out to help build vocabulary around the holidays.
https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1LQV9K4AEVJwQ4g_tMZ2Y-TM4BK5DxKR0?usp=sharing
Anyone in Tomball ISD can access the folder in Google and the files are in PDF format so you don't have to have Boardmaker to open them. Three levels with multiple activities and supports. Each file is already developed and ready to go. This is just the overview of content on one of them.
