We wish each of you a safe and healthy holiday season!
We know the break is exciting and wonderful. We want all of our students to enjoy family and friends. We also know that there could be some downtime here and there, so grade levels will communicate ways to encourage students over the break. We want a strong start in January!

Safety and Security
Thank you Burleson PD for working with us on our afternoon pick up! We wanted to collaborate with Burleson PD on our procedures and get feedback. Officer Cordell enjoyed being with us Wednesday afternoon. He was impressed with our system and was very happy to see everyone being safe and efficient--and not on cell phones! He was very impressed with how our families work together for a great afternoon pick up!
Burleson PD will stop back by periodically to give us feedback as we always want to improve on safety!
Elfis and the Sleigh Riders Holiday program was a great success!!!
Gifted and Talented Testing in January
The Burleson Independent School District will be accepting referrals for testing for gifted and talented services January 8-January 25, 2019. Gifted & Talented Services are designed to serve the unique educational needs of academically gifted students. These students perform or have the potential to perform at a remarkably high level, beyond the performance of their peers. Approximately 3-5% of the population is gifted. The full referral notice and parent forms can be found here: BISD Gifted and Talented Education .
