PBL Classroom Behaviour Management Procedure
Hi everyone,
Just in an attempt to minimise disruption and movement of children referred outside of your classroom for behavioural problems, could you please follow the attached referral flowchart.
Your 'buddy' teacher should be your nearest available classroom except in cases where it has been pre-organised with the teacher you are sending your children too. You need to send work with the student so that they do not 'avoid' work completion.
As a rule of thumb, children with behavioural issues should not be sent across to the other side of the school as too much can go wrong if they are not supervised during this transition time.
If a student refuses to go to the 'buddy' class, please phone for Phil or myself to come and collect them. This automatically elevates the problem to a higher level.

Medical Forms and Excursions
Just a reminder that students who have not returned medical forms will not be able to attend excursions from this term on. There are quite a few of them and the admin team will be meeting with me to discuss a plan of attack.
Kelly and Bron, you are the organisers of upcoming events so it might be advisable for you to check with Jill in lead up to your activities.

Time to dig out that costume!
Don't forget to start putting your costume together for the Book Week Parade in Week 6. The Literacy and Numeracy teams are teaming up to create a great event. Maybe time to get that art work up on your wall as well!! there will be an organisation sheet distributed soon... Also, our students will be involved in the free show this week on Thursday morning. Thanks Phil - that was a real coup!
