Eagle Updates
March 22, 2020
From Mrs. Barry:
This Eagle Updates attempts to put all the information that you've received from SBISD in one place. Though I'm sure I've missed something, I hope you find this "one stop shopping" useful.
Though the campus is CLOSED, our team is still working remotely. PLEASE reach out to me (lynne.barry@springbranchisd.com), Ms. Vendetti, or any of the teachers with questions or concerns. We are here for you!
Even in isolation, our MWE community is still the best! Thank you for all of your support during this difficult time!

We are grateful to Governor Abbott for waiving the STAAR test this year. The Governor made this announcement on Monday, March 16. Learn more here.
Playground Update
I wanted to give you an update on the playground construction. Prior to the end of spring break, quite a bit of work was done! As you can see from the photos below, the concrete base was being installed and should have been completed. Over 12 trucks were needed for this project!
The next step will be the small concrete wall that supports the 3' sidewalk that will surround the playground. With the weather moving in and other Covid-19 concerns, this step will be completed later next week (hopefully).
Our hope is that some work can continue, so when we return, the students have a wonderful new area in which to play!
