March 23-27, 2015
It's going to be another GREAT week at Ross Elementary!
I hope your spring break was filled with all of your favorite memories and that you are looking forward to our upcoming carnival next Saturday March 28 from 11-3 pm.
Tickets will be on sale this week during lunch.
Please do not send envelopes with money for presale tickets. The presale tickets were only for that week prior to Spring Break.
Carnival Tickets are on sale in the cafeteria at the same price of 25 tickets for $20 which gives you 5 free tickets through Friday. These tickets are also good for our raffle bundles which will be on display all week in the cafeteria as well.
We sent home 7 grand raffle tickets for $5 each with students to sell and return the stubs with money and these are due this week.
I have challenged the students to sell all 7 GRAND CARNIVAL RAFFLE tickets each!
If our students sell at least 1,100 tickets, I WILL HAVE TO KISS A PIG!!!! (Yikes!!)
The raffle tickets are $5.00 and will enter the purchaser in a drawing for 4 BIG PRIZES... These prizes include:
- 55-in LED HDTV
- iPad Air
- PlayStation 4
Tickets for the carnival booths are on sale each day this week during lunch. Tickets will also be on sale at the carnival.
We look forward to seeing your family at the carnival this SATURDAY!!
The prizes are awesome so buy your grand raffle tickets and regular carnival tickets this week in the cafeteria at lunchtime.
As always, thanks for trusting your children with us,

LAST WEEK for Pasta for Pennies at Ross Elementary- Send in your spare change!
Students not only enjoy participating, but feel a great sense of pride in helping others. Their efforts will collect one more thing in addition to spare change—the gratitude of cancer patients and their families.
How it Works: Students collect money over a three-week period of the school's choice. The money can come from friends or relatives or underneath the couch cushions. What's important is that it's collected
Got CAKE? We need YOU!
Cake Walk Donations Needed...

PTA is a vital part of any school. It provides a bridge between parents and the school and provides materials, books, and opportunities to students that otherwise would not be possible. Being on the PTA Board does take time and commitment, but working as a team lightens the load on everyone and all students and teachers benefit from our efforts. The PTA is what you make of it! You can plan and provide what you have time to do based on your schedule. Our current board will happily meet with all new board members to help transition them into their positions. Additionally, there are numerous opportunities for training that are available through the Clear Creek PTA Council to help you understand the duties of your position.
If you are interested in filling one of these positions, please return this form to your child's teacher by Friday, February 20, or contact current nomination committee chair, Rebecca Berkemeier at email@example.com
