Crystal Springs Elementary School
The Weekly Wrap by Principal Nielsen- February 5th
I wanted to let you know that the district has been working on installing fences around the perimeter of Crystal Springs. The goal is for visitors to only be able to enter through the office once the project is completed. We are so happy that our campus will be safe and secure for our students. Also, the district has changed all the locks for each of our doors. Before, teachers had to lock their doors from the outside. All staff members can now lock the doors from the inside. The district has been working hard to make all schools safe throughout the district! We are so thankful for all the work being done on our campus!
Reminder: No School February 15th- 19th!
Crystal Springs Car Parade is Coming!
All afternoon classes will be cancelled on February 12th so that the staff can see their students during the parade. We can't wait to see you!
APEX Fundraiser until Friday Feb. 12th
Thank you so much for those of you that have been able to donate. We are hoping to raise funds for jump ropes, library books, help to off-set the costs of the supply pick-up days, and have new playground equipment- especially a GAGA BALL PIT!
APEX instructors have been coming into classrooms and will continue all next week!
EVENT DAY Friday, February 12th Get ready to move and groove! Watch the Apex “Remix” Dance Party at home and cheer your student on! Parents and family members can also join in on the fun! *Due to the complications with trying to track fitness moves virtually, all students will receive the default of 36 fitness moves unless you notify Apex of your student’s results by Saturday, February 13th 8:00pm.
If your child would like to do the Fun Run, please have them track their "laps"! More information in the sheet below.
