We hope this summer has allowed you to make special memories with your child. We want to take this time to welcome our new and returning families to our Raymore Elementary/Early Childhood school family!

Central Registration: August 2nd 7:30 am to 7:00 pm at North High School
Central registration for returning students is scheduled from 7:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 2, at the North High School, 20501 S. School Rd., Peculiar. Please park at the back (east side) of the building.
Before registration:
- Complete the online registration forms. (If you are unable to complete the forms in advance, a computer lab will be open during registration.) Instructions
- Pay student fees online. Select the "required school fees" button. If you pay your fees online, bring a copy of your receipt to registration.
At the registration event:
- Verify residency
- Pay fees (if you have not already done so)
- Receive teacher assignments (grades K-4), locker numbers (grades 5-12), and course schedules/teachers (grades 5-12).
- Purchase a physical education uniform for students in grades 7-8.
- Purchase a parking permit for high school student drivers.
- Obtain information about PTA, spirit wear, yearbooks, and more.
- Add funds to your child's school meal account.
- Visit with school administrators and the school nurse.
- Meet with representatives from Apple Bus.
- Meet with representatives from Panther Pride Child Care.
Note: The Cass County Health Department offers extended walk-in hours for school immunizations from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Aug. 1-4 and 8-11 at the clinic, 300 S. Main, Harrisonville. The cost for one shot is $10. The cost for two or more shots is $20. Please bring identification, insurance information, and the child's immunization record. For more information, call 380-8425.
Meet The Teacher Night - August 15 4:00-7:00pm
An additional Meet the Teacher will also be held on Aug. 18 for Early Childhood/PreK families who may not be able to attend Aug. 15th. Please attend the Aug. 18th event during your child's scheduled class time (8-11am or 11:45-2:45pm).

Elementary Arrival & Dismissal Procedures
Our doors open to welcome our elementary students each morning at 8:25 a.m. Students can get a “Grab N Go” breakfast on their way to class or eat a hot breakfast in our cafeteria until 8:35 a.m. Students should then proceed to class as our teachers are excited to begin with their class family at the start of each day! The tardy bell will ring at 8:45 a.m. and our daily dismissal process begins at 3:45 p.m. If you need to change your child’s dismissal procedures, we ask that you please notify our office staff (816)892-1925 by 2:00 pm. This allows us sufficient time to notify teachers and students of changes.
Below are the locations for arrival/dismissal:
Bus Riders: Students unload and board buses along the front driveway east of the building.
Car riders: All cars/trucks are to drop off/pickup car riders using the north/side driveway. Note: PreK will also unload in this location each morning so please wait until 8:05 a.m. to line up. No cars should enter the front lot during arrival/dismissal for safety of our bus riders and early childhood students entering. Anyone needing to exit their car should park in the parking spots that are available. Please make sure you have a Raymore Elementary yellow car tag with your child’s first & last name visible in the front window of your vehicle.
Walkers/Bikers: Use the Madison Street crosswalk with the help of the crossing guard to enter/exit using the north/side entrance.
School Visitor Procedures
You are always welcome at our school! For the safety of students and staff please follow the Raymore Peculiar School District visitor check in procedures:
Visitors should be prepared to show photo identification.
The visitor’s name will be included on a sign in log.
Visitors will be given a colored break away lanyard to wear.
An escort may be provided to the visitor.
Visitors should return the lanyard when leaving the building.
Pay Online for Meals & School Fees
You can pay for student meals along with required and optional student fees in the District’s Web Store. Go tohttps://raypeck12.revtrak.net/tek9.asp and select "Required School Fees." If you pay your fees online, please print a copy of your receipt and bring it to central registration on July 27 or Aug. 2. After paying required fees, you can continue shopping to make meal payments and to pay optional fees, such as activities or parking. The Web Store accepts personal checks, as well as debit and credit cards, and there are no transaction fees.

As usual, major retailers such as Wal-Mart and Target should have paper copies of the lists available for families as well in the store.

Apple Bus Company and Bus Routes
The Ray-Pec School District contracts with Apple Bus Company to provide student transportation. Apple Bus typically releases new school year bus routes in August. Apple will have representatives present at Registration at the North High School, July 27 and August 2, and also at Raymore Elementary on Meet the Teacher Night, August 15. To inquire about bus routes or transportation, call Apple Bus at 816-318-1900.
