A Message from Principal Purfurst

The Padilla Elementary School PTO's Fun Run is coming up! This will be a great fundraiser for PTO, which in turn helps support the students and staff here at Padilla! PTO is asking that all families send $5 to school for their child's fun run t-shirt. Please get this in as soon as possible!

Padilla Choir is Starting After School on 9/14!

Are you in grades 3-5?

Do you love to sing?

Do you want to get better at singing?

Do you want to make new friends?

Come Join the Padilla Choir! Rehearsals will begin on Wednesday September 14th and will be every Wednesday from 3:40-4:30pm after school. When the bell rings at 3:30 students should go to the music room, and will have 10 minutes to eat a snack, drink water, and use the restroom. Parents/guardians should arrange to pick up choir students at 4:30 at the end of rehearsal.

Conferences Window

Conferences at Padilla will be held during the window of October 4th through October 21st. Your child's teacher will reach out to you to schedule a time to connect with them regarding your child's progress during this window of days!

Picture Day

Fall pictures at Padilla will be taken on Tuesday, October 4th! More information on ordering will be sent out soon!

Freddy's Frozen Custard and Steakburgers PTO Fundraiser

Please come help support our PTO and Padilla Elementary School! This fundraiser will take place from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Tuesday, October 4th at Freddy's Frozen Custard and Steakburgers at Prairie Center! Be sure to mention that you are with Padilla Elementary School so that 15% of sales can be donated!

Scholastic Book Fair

Our Fall Scholastic Book Fair will occur from Tuesday, October 11th through Friday October 14th! More information on that will come soon!

Student Fees

Student school fees have increased for the 22-23 school year from $15 to $65. These fees will be posted to your students account in October. Fees can be paid through the parent portal or payments can be made at the school office. We encourage families to apply for the free and reduced meals as some of these fees could be waived if you are eligible. Click here to apply for free and reduced meals. Fun Run is Coming!

Padilla Elementary PTO will be hosting our 1st Annual FUN RUN fundraiser!! More details coming soon! We are asking parents to help cover some of the cost of the t-shirt by sending in $5 per student. These t-shirts will be worn and used as a lap counter during the fun run. Please contact PTO at padillaelementarypto@gmail.com if you feel like this would be a hardship on your family. If you are interested in helping to sponsor a shirt for another child please let us know as well. Please send money with your student by Tuesday September 13th. Thank you!

Girls on the Run!

Girls on the Run is returning to Padilla this school year!


Practices will be Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:30 to 5:00.


Registration is still open!


To Sign Up:


1. Go to www.girlsontherunrockies.org


2. Click the “Register Now” button.


3. Find and select your school in the drop down menu.


4. After completing the form, hit “submit”. **You will receive a confirmation email from Pinwheel. Please make sure to check your spam folder in case the email went there. If you do not receive this email, chances are you did not fully complete the registration form.
