A Note from the Principal
Dear Brosnahan Parents & Guardians,
We are so excited about this inaugural year for Brosnahan Elementary, and we are even more excited to welcome over 900 Broncos to campus on Monday, August 28, 2023! We have such a beautiful campus. I would argue that it is probably the most beautiful campus in Cy-Fair, and our students and community definitely deserve it.
Just a little about me, I am a proud single mother to two awesome kids. I have a daughter that is finishing her last year in college at the University of Mississippi majoring in Biology. My son will be a junior at Langham Creek HS. He is a baseball player and just started driving, so pray for us! LOL I am a product of Cy-Fair ISD. I was in the first graduating class of Cypress Falls High School. I received my bachelors and masters degree from the University of St. Thomas and my doctorate degree from the University of Houston.
My goal is to ensure that your children have a safe place to learn and grow while being engaged and having fun. I truly believe elementary school should be a fun and positive environment for kids. We have the obligation of establishing a love for learning, and we take that very seriously. If your children are not excited about coming to school everyday, we are not doing something right.
I believe in the partnership of school and family and welcome parents in the building. We will have several volunteer opportunities throughout the year and events that parents can attend. Success of students occurs when parents and staff work together in a positive and respectful manner. We will always communicate with respect, professionalism and sincerity. We ask that you communicate with us in the same manner.
This is going to be an amazing school year! We are #BroncoTOUGH!
Sincerely,
Dr. Renee Silliman

Dismissal Information
As we prepare for your students to arrive in August, we want to make sure we know how each child will be getting home each day. We encourage you to send your child to school on the first day the same way they will go home each day.
Please fill out the google form using the link below:
Parent Packet Pick-Up
Please drive through the front driveway of Brosnahan between 2-3 p.m. on Monday, July 24th or Tuesday, July 25th. We will be handing out packets to every family that will include the Brosnahan Parent Handbook, a car rider tag for every family (even if you are not a car rider), a schedule of events, a calendar of the school year and much more. Our staff members will be lining the drive way so you will get to "meet" them briefly as you drive through.
Bronco Express
We hope to see all of you at your grade level specific "Bronco Express" where students will get to tour the building with a scavenger hunt activity and meet their teacher. We do ask that you arrive right on time to have plenty of time to tour and meet your teacher. We will need everyone to exit the building after your time to to prepare for other events and activities.
