Madison Street Festival Parade

All Pep-Band Students and Fall Guard
8:00am - Meet at Madison City Hall (see map for drop-off) Drop off Students at the Styles of Madison Parking Lot, they will walk up to Madison City Hall. If you need to park briefly, you may park at the old Car Wash site beside City Hall
Look for BJHS Band/DMS Band drop off and parking. Please do not drop off on Hughes Road or park across the road at the Hughes Plaza. Traffic will be heavy and we want to keep safety in mind.
DMS Band Line up is #16
9:00am - Parade begins
Once the Parade reaches Arnette Street off of Sullivan (Wall Triana) the Band will exit the Parade and go down Arnette to Madison Methodist Church. DMS Band will walk back to the Madison Elementary Parking Lot for parents to pick up students. You may check your student out and go to the MMC parking lot to watch the guard perform.
Please gather in the Methodist Church parking lot area left of the stage. This is where the Guard will perform.
9:45am - Parade ends
Not required for class, but strongly encouraged for all to attend.
Pep-Band/Guard Students will walk with the BJHS Band, bring candy to pass out along the Parade route. (Remember to bring candy, lots of candy))
Band kids will not perform, just show up and walk and wave!
Fall Guard will perform with a music track at the end of the Parade.
Band Student Uniform:
Band Polo, Blue Jeans, Athletic Shoes
Guard Uniform:
Black sequin vests, Black tank, Jazz pants, Thin black socks, Jazz Shoes, Headband, Flag

Please pick students up at the Madison Elementary Parking Lot. (Estimated 9:45am)
Guard will perform at the end of the Parade at the Stage in the Madison Methodist Church Parking Lot. (Traffic will be heavy at this time, and you will not be able to park close to the School or Church. Please plan accordingly)
You may take your student to watch the Guard perform. Please tell Mrs. Merritt or Karen Purser
before you leave with your student.
