Meet the Principal

Hi, My name is Sarah Keller and I am so excited to be joining the Lenox Community as the new Principal! I have spent the last twelve years serving in the Hillsboro School District as a teacher, and for the last five years, as a Teacher on Special Assignment (TOSA) serving all 25 of our elementary schools. I have two children who attend school in the Hillsboro School District. Peyton will be entering 3rd grade and Madelyn will be entering Kindergarten. We had a busy and adventure filled summer being outdoors, paddle boarding, rollerblading, hiking, and jumping on our trampoline. I am looking forward to meeting you and learning all about your summer adventures and how we can work together to create the best possible experience for your child as we move into the 21-22 school year.

Thank you for trusting us with the education and caring development of your child. If you have questions or concerns that arise at any time, please do not hesitate to give your child’s teacher or me a call. Family support is a critical link to student achievement. We want to hear from you!

In Partnership,

Sarah Keller

Principal

Meet & Greet - IN PERSON

Please join us on Weds. Sept.1st from 4:30-6:30 PM for our Meet & Greet Event. This is the opportunity to find out who your child's teacher is, walk down to the classroom, drop off school supplies, and sign up for your Virtual Welcome Back Conference time. To ensure the safety of all students, families, and teachers we have dedicated specific twenty-minute blocks of time with corresponding last names.

Event Schedule (organized by last name)

A-G: 4:30pm-4:50pm

H-M: 5:00pm-5:20pm

N-S: 5:30pm-5:50pm

T-Z: 6:00pm-6:20pm

Specific Arrival Details: If your student is entering grades K-2, please proceed to our front door upon arrival and staff will direct you to the appropriate classroom. If your student is entering grades 3-6, please proceed to the red tent at the end of the parent pickup line and staff will direct you from there. If you have children in multiple grades (ex: kinder & 4th), please pick the entrance that is less crowded. We ask that you limit the number of guardians entering the building to one per child.

Safety Precautions:

In accordance with current guidance, masks are required indoors for all persons at our schools and district buildings, during and after school/work hours, regardless of vaccination status. Masks are optional outdoors for all persons at our schools and district buildings, during and after school/work hours, regardless of vaccination status, and strongly advised in crowded situations where appropriate physical distance cannot be maintained.

If you are not able to attend on Sept. 1st, you can always call the school office on Thurs., Sept. 2nd or Fri., Sept. 3rd to find out your child's teacher, or they can find out on the first day of school.

Welcome Back Conferences: 9/7 - 9/8 - VIRTUAL

On Tuesday, September 7th and Wednesday, September 8th teachers will be connecting with each of their students families via Google Meet or Phone call. Similar to last year, these connection opportunities allow for families to meet teachers prior to the first day of school, share strengths, needs, and any other pertinent information to get this year started off strong. When you attend the Meet & Greet event on 9/1, you will be signing up for a time slot when teachers will be calling or meeting you virtually on a google meet. If you are unable to attend the Meet & Greet, please call the office and they will help you get a scheduled time for the Welcome Back Conference.
