High Cholesterol


Some symptoms of high cholesterol is high blood pressure and irregular HDL/LDL levels. There are not any direct symptoms so you have to get your blood checked to tell if you have high cholesterol.


High cholesterol is basically caused by eating fatty foods. Eating too much saturated fat, trans fat, or cholesterol causes high cholesterol.

Foods to increase and avoid

Avoid- whole milk, egg yolks, butter, cheese, any fried foods, and any packaged foods, such as cookies, crackers, or chips.

Increase- any fish, such as salmon, trout, or tuna, any nuts, and soy foods.
