Thank You!
Many thanks to our parent, grandparent, volunteer presenters and helpers on Friday. Our 2nd Annual Engineering Day was a huge success thanks to your support. Our students learned about a variety of engineering fields and they participated in hands-on learning experiences and presentations. A special thank you to Erica Gant for helping to coordinate this fun event.
Sincerely,
Katrina Bailey, Principal

Please take a few moments to participate in the 2017 Parent Climate Survey. Each day staff, students, and volunteers at Caraway work hard to ensure that our campus environment and academic programs meet the needs of all our children.
You are a critical part of our success! Your opinions matter and will help to improve our school and district.
The survey will only be available for a short time. Your survey is completely anonymous. Also, please complete a separate survey for each child that you have at Caraway. Survey is available until March 10th.

CANYON VISTA BEGINNING BAND INSTRUMENT SELECTION NIGHT
If your 5th grader signed up for Band for 6th grade, please bring them to our Instrument Selection Night this coming Wednesday, March 1 at the Canyon Vista Middle School Cafeteria from 5:00 - 8:00 pm. Come at a time during that window that works for you. Expect that the entire process will take approximately one hour.
We are looking forward to meeting a new generation of CVMS Band students and parents! Please come try out all the instruments to see which ones suit you the best. Many times, you find that you have hidden talent on an instrument you never knew you had!
If you aren't able to make it next Wednesday, we will hold a make-up date in April (date TBD). Any questions? Please email Head Band Director Brigette Parsons at brigette_parsons@roundrockisd.org.
Cell Phone Drive
Caraway Innovation Lab is having a smartphone drive to collect gently used phones for a Virtual Reality Excursion experience. Also, if you know of any businesses that provide smartphones to employees, please ask if there are unwanted phones they would like to donate.
All we need is the phone (prefer iPhone 5 or higher or Android 4.1+), battery, and charger if available. The phones should be cleared of all information, apps, etc. and lock codes removed. We will only use the wifi on the phones. Please deliver the phones by March 10th to your child’s teacher. Please email lisa_costello@roundrockisd.org with questions.
