2016 Plano ISD Bond Election
2016 Bond Information Meetings to be Hosted by Superintendent at Six High Schools this Spring
Plano ISD community members are invited to attend any of six information meetings to be hosted this spring about the district’s May 7 bond election proposal. Superintendent of Schools, Dr. Brian Binggeli, will present information and answer questions. Meetings will be held from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. at the district’s high schools on the following dates:
- March 28 (Monday) - Williams High School (auditorium), 1717 17th Street, Plano, TX 75074
- April 4 (Monday) - Clark High School (library), 523 Spring Creek Parkway, Plano, TX 75023
- April 6 (Wednesday) - McMillen High School (cafeteria), 750 N. Murphy Road, Murphy, TX 75094
- April 13 (Wednesday) - Jasper High School (presentation room), 6800 Archgate Drive, Plano, TX 75024
- April 25 (Monday) - Vines High School (presentation room), 1401 Highedge Drive, Plano, TX 75075

About the May 7 Bond Election
On May 7, Collin County voters residing within the Plano ISD attendance zone will be asked to consider a single proposition to provide $481 million toward eight major project areas with no increase to the tax rate. If approved, all Plano ISD campuses will be impacted by district-wide security updates, renovations and facility upgrades, as well as technology improvements. PEP Summer School-- It's a Blast!
Registration is currently underway for the Plano Enrichment Program (PEP I)!
PEP I is housed at Memorial Elementary School and Bowman Middle School. The PEP I program offers a variety of enrichment as well as review courses for Kindergarteners to Fifth Graders in a safe, caring, and fun environment.
We offer something for everyone! STEM, Art, Acting, Sports- we have it all!
The program dates are June 8- June 30, Monday-Friday.
Tuition is $150 for one two-hour course; $300 for our half-day program consisting of two courses.
PEP I Program hours are 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
We'll do the driving for you. Free PISD school bus transportation is offered to and from your home school campus to our PEP I summer school site.

On Line Numbering System for Elementary Transfer Requests
The On Line Numbering System for ELEMENTARY transfer requests will be available beginning April 11th at 6:30 am. Parents must log in beginning April 11th to receive a number to hold a place in line for them on the April 18th transfer day. See flyers below for more details.
Tuesday, April 5 - STEM WARS! - Science/Math Night at Jackson
We hope you can join us on Tuesday, April 5th, from 5:30-7:00 for STEM Night (science, technology, engineering and math)! You will experience a fun, educational night filled with STEM games, activities and technology! From 6:30-7:00, students from an engineering club at SMU (Southern Methodist University) will be performing science demonstrations in the gym!

Friday, April 8 - Cici's Pizza Night, 2220 Coit Rd. (at W. Park Blvd.), 5:30 - 8:00 pm.
STAAR testing is over, so let's do pizza! Come hungry, and don't forget your quarters! OR, call ahead and pick up a pizza pie on your way home! Either way, a portion of your proceeds comes back to Jackson - just say you're with Jackson Elementary. It's a great way to give back to our school!
