History: Christianity developed out of Judaism in the 1st century C.E. It is founded on the life, teachings, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ

History: Judaism origins date back to nearly four thousand years ago. It originated in the eastern region of Canaan, which is Israel today.

Rituals: lighting a lamp before the alter of The Lord daily.

History: although there is not a specific time that Hinduism was formed, it's history is closely linked to the rising and falling of different kingdoms and empires.

History: buddhism dates back to 6th century BC, starting with the birth of Buddha Siddhartha Gautama in Lumbini, Nepal.

History: people of the Islam religion originally called themselves Muslims, which is still the name today. Muslims originated from the Middle East.
