That is why we focus on Digital Citizenship and Suicide Awareness throughout the year. We want you to live a positive life online and off.

Suicide Awareness

All grade 10 students participate in a one hour seminar to increase their awareness regarding the issues and concerns regarding suicide ideation for teens. (Canada Mental Health)

Mental Health Symposium

Opportunity for students to increase mental health literacy and learn ways to care for themselves and each other in a positive way. The symposium is a one day student event with an expert in the field of social media and mental health. Bishop Carroll High School’s student lead mental wellness team is called ‘Living Aware, Living Informed, Living Empowered’. The wellness team plans events that raise awareness, educate, and empower others.

An anti-bullying initiative. It's More Than A Day It's A Way. A partnership with Mount Royal University, Centennial High School to support the zero tolerance bullying stance of our Bishop Carroll Professional Learning Community.
