ONE-PAGERS
"Students in Mrs. Vanderheyden's ELA classes were tasked with creating one-pagers related to one of the stories from their suspense unit: Button Button, Lamb to the Slaughter, or Ruthless. This assignment allows students to demonstrate their interpretation and analysis of key skills and literary elements in a visual way.

Garden State Esports State Finals🏅
Fernwood Esports spent the week preparing for their trip to Garden State Esports State Finals at St. Elizabeth University on Saturday. Both Fernwood’s Rocket League and Smash Bros teams will be playing on the big stage hoping to take home championships. During the week students from Stockton’s varsity Esports team took time to give our kids some extra coaching. Fernwood is looking for a chance to win its first-ever title in Rocket League and its second consecutive title in Smash Bros.
You can watch our Rocket League team take on Orange Avenue School from Cranford, NJ in the semifinals at about 3 pm on one of the two GSE Twitch Streams, followed by the Smash Bros state finals against Burnet from Union Township at 4 pm. The Rocket League finals will then be at 5 pm to finish up the event.
You can also watch our State All Stars receive recognition at 1pm: Liam Varela, Dominic Sausto, and Ava Gentile.

Winners will be selected next week! Here are our first few entries with more to follow. Look for them outside the building these next few days!
