Happy New Year Corona Families! As we come back from Winter Break we know it will take time to get back into the rhythm and momentum that was built beforehand. A great thing to do at this time is to reestablish short and long term goals. It is also important to write these down and emphasize the necessary steps and behaviors needed to achieve the desired outcomes. This will be that much more difficult than ever before due to the Covid pandemic. There is no doubt that our struggles and hardships will mold us into stronger people that will do what it takes to help our loved ones and other be the best we can be.

Ms. Christina Ledezma
Office Asst./PK Teacher Assistant
Hello Corona and Happy New Year!
Students and staff know me as Ms. Christina. I grew up in Montclair/Ontario, CA and graduated from Montclair High in 2014. Before that, I was an OMSD student! I attended Moreno Elementary and Serrano Middle School over 10 years ago. I started working at Corona Elementary in late 2018 as the school Librarian; however, I have recently moved on to become both an Office Assistant and a Preschool Teacher Assistant. My favorite thing about working at Corona is interacting with the students because they have so many ideas and interests; the sky is the limit for them! My advice to parents is always encourage your children to learn and try out new things. Learning can happen every day in the simplest ways! I am currently a college student working towards obtaining my ADT (Associate Degree for Transfer) and Master Teacher Certificate in Early Childhood Education. Some fun facts about me are that in school I played basketball and tennis as well as participated in the school plays/musicals. I also have 5 pets! I have a cat, 2 geckos and 2 fish. Some of the things I like to do are visit National Parks and amusement parks, watch movies, and do hand-lettering projects. My favorite music ranges from 80s Pop to Latino Music to Musical Theatre—it is all over the place, but I love it! I hope this helped you get to know me a little better. I have genuinely enjoyed working at Corona these past few years and look forward to the years to come!
