End of Course - STAAR Testing

E.O.C.Testing Dates



Below are the testing dates for the various subject areas to be tested. as a reminder if you haven't passed the corresponding exam it is a requirement f you to take that exam. All Students should show up no later than 8:15 on the date of the test.

Reminders for Testing Days

  1. Students should get a good night’s sleep and have a healthy breakfast prior to testing.
  2. Please arrive on time to school – testing begins promptly.
  3. Schools are closed to visitors on days when testing is being administered.



Testing begins at 8:15 a.m. each day.

New Students to HSoC

HSoC is and has been successful because of YOU, the students who have come here and been successful completing, in many cases, a student's last chance at success! It's time to replenish our numbers. If you know a student similar to you that may need an opportunity as you did at HSoC have them apply at HSoC.




Remember the minimum requirements for acceptance into HSoC:


  • Need to have a minimum of three (3) E.O.C. (End of Course Exams / STAAR Tes) passed or waived
  • Must be enrolled into WISD prior to acceptance. No Out- of- District students.
  • Attendance is a significant factor.
  • Transportation is not provided.
  • Discipline offensives are a major factor considered in the acceptance.

ACT | SAT Testing 2023-2024 School Year

The dates below are strictly based on dates this year and we have room to move as I have made notes and put assessment widows by each….

· FALL

· PSAT- October 11 (This year we have a window to choose a date instead of College Board giving us the date. I am assuming this is become PSAT will go ALL digital in the Fall. The window is October 2-31


· PreACT- November 8th (Typically the PreACT window in anytime between Sept 1-June for 10th grade students)


· SPRING

· SAT- March 20 (The testing window is March 4-April 26)

· ACT- March 26 ACT has typically been more flexible in when you can test but they have released some testing windows based on if it’s paper or online….
