Turkey's History
The Turks first lived in Central Asia around 2000 BC. Some of them left Central Asia and spread around, making many states and empires independent from each other within a big area of Asia and Europe. The Turks in Anatolia started to settle in Anatolia in the early 11th century. About 80% of the population is Turkish. The ethnic minority the Kurds, is estimated at 20%.

Health care in Turkey is better compared to the past years but still hasn't reached the expected quality.
Clothing
Wool and cotton fabric was woven on handlooms but silk came from China.Horse's was the common form of transportation in the turkish daily routine, women's and men's clothes resembled each other. Fur and woolen materials were major in clothes of the 100 B.C. period.
Religion
Up to 98 percent of the population are Muslims. Christians are a minority religion in Turkey. Their constitution guarantees religious freedom.

Most of Turkeys transportation is by bus or train.
