BSU "pitch" contest

Congrats to our students who participated in the Idaho Entrepreneurial Challenge Pitch Competition. It is sponsored through the Venture College at BSU. Students compete for funding by pitching their business idea to a panel of independent judges throughout the day. The intention of the high school division is to emulate the collegiate contest at a smaller scale. In speech class IACS students prepared business ideas and pitched them. From those presentations several teams were chosen to participate at BSU. These teams met outside of class with members of the Venture College to further prepare, and then presented at BSU. The following students presented: Trinity Hodge, Chloe Kilborn, and Madisen Wise with an app called "Nap Watch" Erionna Mitchell pitched a product called "Specifically Yours" and Devon Carder and Brodier Larkin pitched "Snack Shack". Mrs. Paxton led this event and chaperoned the students at the event.
