Happy Mother's Day

Dear ICS families,

We have had a busy few weeks since coming back from Easter break. Its hard to believe we only have less than 20 days of school left!

Once again, our Home School Association spoiled us with an amazing Night at the Races. Thank you all for the incredible work that went into this event!

Our incredibly creative and talented teachers are busy planning and scheduling events that will take place throughout the last 4th marking period. Spring is always an incredibly busy time in schools and no doubt will challenge you as you work to coordinate your calendar to attend the various scheduled events. I am proud of our students' growth and development. I am in awe of our teacher's consistent dedication.

It is my pleasure to invite you to school as we encourage our students to show how smart and confident they have become. Bravo to all the teachers and support staff for providing great learning and social experiences. Our passionate teachers inspire our students every day. Parents~ thank you for your support as you do your best to attend these school-led activities!

We are so thrilled for all our second graders who made their First Holy Communion this past Saturday! As each child received Jesus for the first time, I pray each child will always remember that Jesus will be with him/her at all times. Jesus will help guide him/her to do what is right and keep him/her in the light of Christ. We will continue to remind your children as Father Joe said in his homily, the more he/she receives Him, the closer he/she will be to God, helping your child become the person God wants and needs him/her to be. I want our children to understand that Jesus loves him/her so much and so do we!
