News from the Nurse’s Office

It is that time of year for colds, flu, fevers and upset stomachs. First of all, I’d like to remind you of the Boise School District Policy: If your child has a fever, vomiting, diarrhea, bad cough or rash, please keep them home for 24 hours after these symptoms have resolved. One more tidbit regarding fevers; please keep your child home until fever free without the use of medicine. Call the school nurse if you’re unsure. As another reminder, please do not send your student to school with medication. Medication needs to be brought into the health office by a parent.

For more info go to www.boiseschools.org and click on Parents/Patrons, Health Services, Parent Information.

Thanks again,

Nurse Jenny

A Note From the PTO

Thank you, thank you, thank you, to the Horizon staff, parents, friends and family who made the carnival a huge success!! They helped set everything up, run the games, sold pizza and took it all down afterwards. Thank you to the parents who brought their kids that evening. The carnival was a BLAST! Thank you for supporting the raffle. That money benefits the teachers, classrooms, character breakfasts and supports school projects.
