Social Emotional Learning (SEL) at SHPS
Our schoolwide focus for this month is Empathy. Students have been learning about empathy and being kind during their SEL time each week. During the week of 2/21, we'll be having a Kindness Week at SHPS. Student will participate in various kindness activities in their classrooms and throughout the school. Ask your child to tell you about how they are kind at school!
Current COVID Protocol
- They need to stay home for at least 5 days.
- Day 0 is the first day of symptoms or the day a positive test was performed, whichever comes first.
- After day 5 you can retest every day. Your student may return once they are negative (we will need a photo of neg test before returning). If you decided not to test, the student/staff can return after 10 days.
- Any student who has had a fever must be fever free for at least 24 hrs with improving symptoms. They can return to school if this is the case.
