Queer Film Series: Bi the Way (2008)

Tuesday, 5:00pm at the LGBTQ Resource Center-

This provocative and problematic documentary asks the question “What is bisexuality?” Exploring various faces of sex and bisexuality from all over the country it is sure to generate much discussion. Talk back with Dr. Liz Cannon following the film.

International Film Series: Kill Your Darlings

Tuesday, 7pm, Reeve Union Theater
American independent (Killer Films), 2013. Rated R. 104 minutes

This feature debut from John Krokidas is based on actual events related to the early interactions of major figures in the Beat generation. The film focuses on the poet Allen Ginsberg (Daniel Radcliffe) and his friendships with William S. Burroughs, Jack Kerouac, and Lucien Carr.

History Club Movies Series: Paths of Glory

Kirk Douglas stars as a World War I French colonel who, having witnessed the ravages of trench warfare, decides to act on his conscience and buck the military machine. Shot in 1957, Paths of Glory still ranks as one of the most powerful antiwar films ever produced.

Queer Talk Show with Sally Masters & Chris Ziegler

Thursday, 5:00pm at the LGBTQ Resource Center-

Liz will interview Sally Masters, Associate Director of Academic Advising here at UWO. Sally is also a wedding officiant and has married more than 700 couples, 500+ same sex couples. Her partner, Chris Ziegler, is the former Assistant Principal of Menasha High School, and a UW Oshkosh Alum.

Is a 23-year-old sexuality geek based out of the San Francisco Bay Area. She runs a sex positive education project called Sex+! Sex+ consists of a biweekly video series, a weekly live show, daily blogging, university lectures, and a peer education network.
