We Belong Here!
Good day, Falcons!
Congratulations! Yes, Congratulations! Not only have we gotten through another week, we are getting through it together and with strength. Distance Learning has not been easy, but everyone is rising to the challenge and pushing through. Great job.
We continue to reach out through our "House Calls" and check in with students and families. It has been great to hear your voices, and hear your new adventures through Flip Grid, Tic Toc, Zoom Meetings, and Face Timing.
Remember, if you or a fellow Falcon is struggling, please reach out to Counseling and Student Support Services.
Big Hugs,
Ms. Bohn, Mr. Lightner, Mrs. Mathews, Ms. Stromberg, and Mr. Tahapary

Social Emotional Lesson #6- Evaluating Content
Below is an activity/interactive lesson on Evaluating Content. First there is a review of Copyrights and Fair Use from the previous lesson. Next you will learn about Evaluating what you read on the internet. With so much information and news out there it is easy to get confused and not know what is accurate or not. This lesson will teach you how to find accurate information as well as what to look out for as far as ads or sponsored content. Take a few minutes to watch the video and take the surveys.
The EverFi registration PowerPoint is still below in case you did not register last week. Please take a few minutes to check out this valuable lesson.
Each week a new activity will be posted. If you have any issues with the program do not hesitate to reach out to Andrew Lightner alightner@powayusd.com . I will do my best to address your concerns.
