Don't forget to complete the self-screener in Tyler EVERY day your child attends school in person!!!!
Principal's Message
Thank you for following our arrival/dismissal procedures. We can get kids in and out much more efficiently when everyone follows the same guidelines. Our car line is LONG, especially in cold weather. We understand you want your child to get in/out quickly to avoid the cold, but our staff is outside for 45 minutes or more working these lines and they want to get inside too! We need to work together to keep the line moving.
PARENT DROP OFF & PICK UP
Arrival: Please help us move the car line along faster by making sure your child is ready to exit the car as you pull into the circle. Then, as soon as you are past the curve and the line comes to a stop, please let your child out of the car and get ready to continue through the line. We have lots of staff ready to assist your child in getting into the building.
Dismissal: Be sure you have your yellow sign. Pull up as far as you can. Do not stop to be closer to the exit doors, even if you see your child. Encourage your child to listen for their name in their dismissal locations. We call names over the walkie-talkie and move cars forward while students exit the building.
REMINDER
Self Screening:
Please create a routine that includes the self-screening in Tyler each morning your child is in school. Set an alarm on your phone, put up signs at your door, or tie a string on your finger to help you remember!
